Music for Babies (MB) | Infants to 15 Months

We will sing, rock, dance and enjoy a beautiful assortment of musical activities while gently awakening little one's musical senses. Rhythm instruments are introduced as well as special parent-baby dances that stimulate baby's eyes body and mind.

Thursdays: 9:30-10:00
Materials*: $36.00/22.00 continuing Babies
Tuition: $110.00/10 weeks


*Materials include a CD, a Baby Instrument Kit in a cloth bag with rhythm sticks, shaker, scarf and Parent Song Booklet.

Music for Toddlers (MT) | 16 Months - 3 ½ Years

Stimulating sounds and rhythms start this musical journey as children explore their ability to create music. Parents actively participate with your toddler in singing, moving, dancing, listening and instrument play experiences.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays: 9:30-10:00
Wednesdays: 10:15-10:45
Materials*: $30.00 per family
Tuition: $150.00/14 week semester


*Materials include a small instrument or scarf, CD with many of the songs and activities enjoyed in class and a Song Booklet.

Music Time for 3's and 4's (MT3-4) | Ages 3-4 ½ years

Each week is a delightful musical adventure with themes that invite music making, movement and pretend play. Classes are designed to build attention and self-expression while building skills. Instrument exploration, singing and dancing, focused listening and musical games highlight each day together. Parents are actively involved in class.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays: 10:15-11:00
(In the Wed. class parents join in the last 15 minutes.)

Imagine That! (IT) | Ages 3 ½ - 5 Years

Designed for active, energetic preschoolers, "Imagine That!" will take your unique child on a musical journey of discovery and exploration. Each day's activities include instrument play, vocal exploration, focused listening and creative movement inspired by a different theme each semester. Parents join in at sharing time the last 15 minutes of each class.

Wednesdays: 10:15-11:00
Materials*: $60.00
Tuition: $175.00/14 week semester


*Materials include a double CD, 2 children's books, an instrument and a Family Activity Book.

Family Time (FT) | A mixed age class for children up to 4 years

Families will laugh and play together and all ages will learn from each other. "Family Time" is a special class for music sharing. We'll sing, play and jam, move, listen and create ensembles. (See activities description in MT3-4)

Tuesdays: 6:00-6:45 for Mixed Ages
Materials*: $60.00 per family
Tuition: $175.00/14 week semester


*Materials include instruments, puppets, 2 CDs, literature books and a Family Activity Book.

Music Makers (MM1) | Ages 4 ½ - 6 Years

As children delight in learning about animals and their habitats, it's even more fun to explore them with music! Each semester, 2 different habitat units inspire our music making as we learn about instrument families and musical notation. "Music Makers" features singing, creative movement, dance, instrument ensembles, active listening and notation. As a developmentally sound approach to music literacy, we encourage symbolic thinking, concentration, memory and self-expression.

Tuesdays or Thursdays: 10:15-11:15
Thursdays: 5:00-6:00
Materials*: $50.00 / 25.00 for same age-group sibling
Tuition: $200.00/14 week semester

Music Makers Year 2 (MM2) "Around the World" | Ages 5 ½ - 7 Years

This year focuses on your child's fascination with the world beyond their own. We'll enjoy exploring world cultures as we build upon the musical skills from Year 1. As we musically celebrate the cultures of the British Isles, American Indians, African Americans and Germany, we'll expand our musical knowledge with a focus on rhythm, pitch, ensemble skills and musical notation. We explore 2 cultures each semester.

This class is not offered for the 2008/2009 year and will return for 2009/2010.
